‘Cricket Lovely Cricket’ late 1940/ 1950’s. Card album/scrapbook, tied with cord to the right hand side containing signed press and magazine cuttings, original postcards, cigarette cards and other ephemera. Profusely signed to images. Signatures include Keith Miller, Bill Johnston, Willie Watson, Bill Edrich, Close, Bedser, Laker, Evans, N. Harvey, Davidson, Benaud, Morris, Tallon, Hill, signed cigarette cards of A. Fagg, F.R. Brown, Watkins, Graveney, the South African 1951, including Cheetham, McGlew, Nourse, Fullerton, Rowan, Chubb etc, good coverage of the Indian touring team of 1952 with signatures of Sen, Ahmed, Sarwate, Umrigar, Shinde, Ramchand, Roy, Mantri, Hazare etc, the 1953 Australian with an official autograph sheet loosely laid down at the top border of the sheet (17 signatures). Postcards include original postcards of Lord’s, the Oval, Indian team 1952, Australian team of 1956, four colour postcards of Lord’s, photograph of the Oval etc. Also signed to the rear of the album by boxer Randolkp Turpin, billiards players Sidney Smith and Joe Davis, and athlete Tom Richards. Odd faults, good condition
