‘Grand Cricket Match. Leominster v Falcons Touring C.C. Holloway’s Benefit’ 1907. Original Great Western Railway handbill advertising train travel to Leominster for the match played at The Grange, Leominster on Monday 5th August 1907. The handbill printed on buff coloured paper, measures 7.5”x10”, and was printed by D.A. Dalley of Leominster. Minor marks otherwise in good/ very good condition
The Falcons Touring Cricket Team dated back to 1902 and was made up of ex-students of Quaker schools, they toured the Herefordshire and Shropshire areas, playing matches at Ledbury and Ross on Wye on their tour. The club continued to tour until the 1990’s
