Frank William Milligan. Yorkshire & England 1894-1898. Original sepia cabinet card photograph of the memorial tablet erected by the Yorkshire Cricket Team ‘In Affectionate Remembrance of Lieutenant Frank Milligan who was killed near Mafeking March 31 1900 [Second Boer War]’. The card by Gawthorp Metal Worker of Long Acre, London, measures 4.25”x6.5”. Some foxing to mount, otherwise in good/ very good condition.
Milligan played in two Tests on Hawke’s tour to South Africa 1898/99.
