Westerwald stoneware cricket water jug, moulded in relief with five cameo panels of a batsman, believed to be W.G. Grace, in different poses, coloured in cobalt blue on a grey background. The body decorated with vine and sprig decoration with decorated strap handle. Approx 7” high. German circa 1890. ‘German’ and number ‘104’ impressed to base. A lovely example of this German pottery.
