W.G. Grace, K.S. Ranjitsinhji and George Giffen. A Camberfield pottery bowl printed in blue with vignette of Grace batting, presumably, at Lords with wicket keeper, pavilion, church and stands to background and to verso Ranjitsinhji and George Giffen with decorative stumps, crossed bats and ball to sides with title ‘Famous Cricketers’ in scroll between the cameos of Ranjitsinhji and Giffen. Back stamp of a thistle and sash for Camberfield Pottery Company Ltd of Glasgow (1884-1905). Approximately 5.35” diameter and 4” high. Chip to rim, minor wear to images, a little age toning otherwise in good condition. A rare cricketing bowl. We have previously sold the mug and the jug in this series but never before the bowl
