William Voce. Nottinghamshire & England 1927-1952. Attractive glass tumbler commemorating the ‘M.C.C. visit to the Crown Crystal Glass Pty Ltd, Sydney on the 27th February 1947. W.E. Voce’. Drinking glass, with colourful printed title and floral decoration to sides and gold lustre to surround and rim. With titles and Voce’s name printed below presented to Voce as a member of the M.C.C. touring party to Australia in 1946/1947, the first tour after the second World War. Sold with a similarly decorated glass with the printed signatures of seven members of the touring team to sides, Howard (tour manager), Voce, Bedser, Washbrook, Pollard, Fishlock and Hutton. Both 3.75” tall. Good/very good condition
