‘Geoff Boycott. Yorkshire. England’. Large hand painted display on canvas with Boycott depicted batting for England to centre, set in a roundel with titles to borders on dark blue background. Produced for Boycott on reaching 100 first-class centuries. Signed to the artwork by Boycott and to the verso by the artist T.C. Stewart, October 1977. Approx. 24” square. Two large wooden shields originally from Boycott’s desk, one with Yorkshire emblem and ‘Yorkshire 1962-1986’, the other with the three lions emblem and ‘England 1964-1981’. Each approx. 16”x18” and signed to the verso by Boycott. Also a humorous garden gnome style figure of a cricketer wearing cricket attire, hair protruding from under a sun hat, and holding a red ball. Formed from fabric and adhesive. Signed by Boycott to the front. Approx. 29” tall. Qty 4. All ex-Boycott collection. Good condition.
