Middlesex C.C.C. 1898. Original sepia photograph of the Middlesex team, standing and seated in rows wearing blazers and caps. Players featured are Stoddart (Captain), Webb, Warner, Trott, Nicholls, Hayman, Rawlin, O’Brien, Ford, Bray and Hearne. Printed titles and players’ names to lower mount border. The photograph probably by Foster or Hawkins measures approx 11.5”x 10.5”, laid to photographer’s mount, overall, 13.5”x9.5”. Framed and glazed, overall 21”x17”. The photograph has been trimmed to the lower corners and small tape repair to mount, some fading to photograph, otherwise in good condition
