Yorkshire c.1906. Two original small mono/ sepia panoramic press photographs of matches in progress. One with pencil annotation to verso ‘The Yorkshire eleven in the field. A match was played yesterday between Yorkshire & the M.C.C. captained by G.L. Jessop’. Appears to be 1906. The other similarly annotated ‘Greatest cricket match of the year. Surrey v. Yorks at Sheffield. General view of the game showing Yorkshire batting & Surrey in the field’. Both measure approx. 8.5”x3”, with official press stamps to verso for ‘Daily Mirror Bureaux √† Paris’. Very good condition.
