‘A Biographical Sketch of Arthur Shrewsbury, the Famous Notts Cricketer. With full details of his chief performance in England & Australia’. Compiled and published by S.W. Hitchin, Nottingham 1890. This is an oddity as it appears two copies of the book have been bound together, one with original stiffened boards and the other with original wrappers, the stiffened boards are in blue and the wrappers in pink. Both editions with 42 pages, but the stiffened board copy with more advertising pages. The first edition has some foxing to the boards otherwise both copies in very good condition. The second copy has ‘With the compilers compliments’ handwritten to the top edge of the front wrapper
