To inside front endpaper is the ownership name in ink of Robert Stratton Holmes, dated ‘Liverpool 30.6.[18]86’, with a cutting of a newspaper review laid down below. Scarce signature to title page of Charles Box, Grosvenor Park, Camberwell, dated 1853. Several annotations to pages in ink in Box’s hand. Padwick 867. Slight breaking to internal hinges, some staining to boards, otherwise in good condition.
