A.C. Maclaren’s tour to Australia 1901/02. Australia v England 1st Test, Sydney, 13th- 16th December 1901. Early mono plain back postcard of the large crowds in attendance with the scoreboard and grandstand in the background. The scoreboard depicts England’s first innings with Lilley and Braund batting, and the fallen wickets of MacLaren having scored 116, Jessop 24 and Hayward 69. England went on to win by an innings and 124 runs. Postally unused. Photographer unknown. Soiling, otherwise in good condition.
