Scarborough Cricket Festival 1911. Three original double sided scorecards with incomplete printed scores for each of the matches played in the 1911 Scarborough Festival. Matches are Yorkshire v. M.C.C. 31st August- 2nd September (Yorkshire 378 & 225/6 declared, M.C.C. 274 & 334/7), match drawn. Wilfred Rhodes scored centuries (128 & 115) in each innings for Yorkshire, Spooner (102) and Jessop (117no) for M.C.C. in their second innings. Gentlemen v. Players, 4th- 6th September (Players 432, C.P. Mead 223, & 181/5 declared, Gentlemen 290, Bosanquet 103, Field 8/94, & 195/6), match drawn. Lord Londesborough’s XI v. M.C.C. (Australian [touring]) Team 7th- 9th September, Lord Londesbury’s XI 301, Hitch 7/87, & 258/7 declared, Jessop 136, M.C.C. touring team 190 & 333/5, match drawn. Each approx. 5”x8.25”. Horizontal folds, some foxing to one scorecard, otherwise in good/ very good condition.
