Warwickshire v Hampshire 1922. Rare official single sided scorecard for the ‘famous’ match played at Edgbaston, 14th- 16th June 1922. Complete printed scores. In this incredible match, Warwickshire batted first and scored 223 (Santall 84, Calthorpe 70) before bowling out Hampshire for only fifteen runs in under nine overs. Eight batsmen were out for ducks, Howell taking 6/7 and Calthorpe 4/4 for Warwickshire. Following on, Hampshire then scored a remarkable 521 in their second innings, Brown scoring 172 and Livesey 110no, before bowling Warwickshire out for 158 to win by 155 runs. Printed by A.G.
