Nottinghamshire v Leicestershire 1932. Rare official commemorative silk scorecard for the match played at Trent Bridge, 22nd- 24th June 1932. Nottinghamshire elected to bat first and reached 244, Willis Walker ending 114no, George Geary taking 5/43. Leicestershire were then bowled out for just 80, Ewart Astill (34) and Horace Snary (20) the only two to reach double figures. Following on they were dismissed again cheaply, this time for only 53, Snary (18) the only one in double figures. Harold Larwood and Bill Voce bowled unchanged throughout both innings and took ten wickets each, Voce ending with match bowling figures of ten wickets for 35 runs, Larwood ten for 88. Nottinghamshire won by an innings and 111 runs. Printed on the ground by C.H. Richards, the scorecard measure 7.5”x9”, lightly laid to black album page. Originally from the personal collection of Bill Voce. Slight adhesive marks show through, otherwise in good/ very good condition.
