‘Ladies’ Match. England v. The Rest’ 1933. Official folding scorecard for the match played at Grace Road, Leicester, 29th July 1933, the first occasion that a women’s team played as ‘England’. England batted first and scored 201/6 declared, Molly Hide being dismissed for 99, Betty Snowball scoring 52. The Rest were then bowled out for 107. cricketarchive.com records this as a single innings match, England Women winning by 94 runs. The scorecard shows The Rest batting again, reaching 46/2. Printer unknown. Local advertising to both sides. Overall 10”x8.25”. Minor age toning, otherwise in very good condition.
