Cricket magazines 1884 onwards. Box comprising a selection of cricket magazines, the majority loose, some bound. Titles are ‘Cricket: A Weekly Record of the Game’. Vol. III nos. 63-79 (26th June to 25th December 1884). Bound in maroon cloth, gilt title to spine, title page and contents page to front, lacking original wrappers. Wear to boards. ‘The Cricketer’ Vol. VII nos. 2, 3, 6-8 (22nd May to 3rd July 1926) bound in red cloth lacking original wrappers. ‘The Cricketer Annual 1929-30’ and ‘Spring Annual 1930’ bound together in green cloth, lacking original wrappers. ‘The Cricketer [International] Quarterly’ 1973-2000. Good run of thirty three loose issues of the booklet from Summer 1973 (first issue) to Autumn 1986, one duplicate. ‘Cricket News. ‘A Weekly Review of the Game’, Vol. 1 nos. 1-26 1977/78 with contents booklet, Vol. 2 nos. 1-26 1978/79 with contents booklet, and Vol. 3 nos. 1-3 1979. All loose in two official green binders. ‘Picture Post Book of the Tests’ 1953 and 1956. Four issues of the ‘Rothmans Test Cricket Almanack’ 1960s. Eighteen issues of ‘Wisden Cricket Monthly’ June 1979 (first issue) to November 1980. Some faults to earlier bound issues, otherwise in good condition.
