Includes two earlier Rugby League programmes for Huddersfield v. St. Helens, Challenge Cup Final, Twickenham, 25th April 1953, and Great Britain v. New Zealand, Headingley, 17th December 1955. Later Rugby Union teams featured include Leeds Tykes, Newcastle Falcons, Melrose, Wharfedale, Rotherham, Orrell, Otely, Morley, Harrogate, Newport, Bridgend, Swansea etc. Rugby League programmes include World Cup 1995, England v. South Africa, Australia v. New Zealand (semi-final with match ticket), also Cup and League finals, semi-finals etc. featuring Castleford, Hull, St. Helens, Wigan, London Broncos, Halifax, Leeds Rhinos etc. Sold with a selection of over fifty rugby union signatures individually signed to white cards including J.P.R. Williams, Phil Bennett, Ray Gravell, Gareth Cooper, Gareth Evans (Wales), Trevor Woodman, Mike Tindall (England), Gavin Kerr, Carl Hogg, Scott Murray (Scotland), Keith Wood, Brian O’Driscoll, Denis Hickie (Ireland), Mike Brewer (New Zealand), Phillipe Saint-Andre, Abdel Benazzi (France) etc. Also a ‘Rugby Annual for Wales Lions Tour Special 2001/02’ signed to the front by Rob Howley and one other, and a small selection of modern rugby guides/ handbooks.
