Brian Johnston. Broadcaster and cricket commentator. Three handwritten letters from Johnston in the early 1990s, two to Mick Pope, the other to Jack Sokell, both of the Wombwell Cricket Lovers’ Society. The letters relate to requests for tributes, one to Johnston’s former broadcasting colleague, Trevor Bailey, another to ‘Godders’ (Godfrey Evans), and the third regarding Joe Lister (Yorkshire & Worcestershire 1954-1959). All signed by Johnston. Good condition.
