Australia tour to South Africa 1957/58. Official folding card issued on board the Shaw Savill Line Q.S.M.V. ‘Dominion Monarch’ at Cape Town. The front cover with colour illustration of a vase of flowers. The inside front cover with printed title, ‘Australian Cricket Team South African Tour 1957-58 Autographs’ with the printed names of the Australian touring party, fully signed in ink by all sixteen listed players. Signatures are Craig (Captain), Harvey, Benaud, Burge, Burke, Davidson, Drennan, Favell, Gaunt, Grout, Jarman, Kline, Mackay, Meckiff, McDonald and Simpson. Facing this is a printed ‘Tour Record’ and results of the five Test matches played in the 1957/58 series, of which Australia won three, two being drawn. The card may have been the cover for a slipped in menu. Slight splitting to fold, otherwise in good condition. Loosely slipped in is a mono photograph of the ship. Pin holes to corners and edges, otherwise in good condition.
