Australian tour to England 1953. Official Australian Board of Control programme and itinerary for the tour to England. Decorative cover with green and gold colours and Australian emblem in gold. To inside pages are the programme of matches to be played on the tour and the back cover is an autograph card with names of the touring Australians listed, nicely signed by all members of the touring party in ink. Seventeen signatures of Hassett (Captain), Morris, Archer, Benaud, Craig, Davidson, deCourcy, Harvey, Hill, Hole, Johnston, Langley, Lindwall, McDonald, Miller, Ring and Tallon. The front cover with signed inscription from Lindsay Hassett, the Australian Captain. Ink blot/stain affecting all pages and the signatures of Hill and Hole otherwise in good condition. Rare. Sold with an official scorecard for a War time Test between England and Australia played at Lord’s on 14th July 1945 in fair condition. Qty 2.
