West Indies tour of England 1950. ‘The Cavendish, Eastbourne’ headed paper nicely signed in different coloured inks by fourteen members of the West Indies touring party including the Manager J.M. Kidney. Players’ signatures, with names annotated in ink to side, are Goddard (Captain), Worrell, Valentine, Marshall, Ramadhin, Williams, Gomez, Walcott, Jones, Stollmeyer, Rae, Weekes and Pierre. The page laid down to album page with additional signatures to verso of Australian cricketers, Ken Grieves and Ben Barnett. Light folds, otherwise in very good condition.
The West Indies played at Eastbourne on their opening tour match against L.C. Stevens XI in April 1950. The match was drawn.
