South African cricket grounds early 1900s. A good selection of early colour and mono postcards of grounds in South Africa. Includes a nice real photograph colour postcard of the ‘Main Ground, Wanderers Club, Johannesburg’ by ‘S.A. Railways’. Other titles include two of ‘The Wanderers Johannesburg’ and another, ‘A Cricket Match on the Union Grounds, Johannesburg’ all three by Sallo Epstein & Co., Durban, one postmarked 1903. ‘Cricket at Johannesburg (Warner’s Team in the Field)’ by Hallis & Co., Port Elizabeth, postmarked 1907. ‘Cricket Ground, Potchefstroom Park’ by S.E.C.D. ‘Salisbury Cricket Ground, M.C.C.’ by S. Koefman, Salisbury. Other grounds include Newlands, Albert Park Durban, Park Pavilion Pietermaritzburg etc. Odd minor faults, otherwise in good condition. Qty 12.
