Albert Craig ‘The Surrey Poet’. Mono postcard of Craig standing at the boundary reciting a poem to a group of spectators wearing boaters, a match in progress in the background. Titled ‘(Kent) “My County, Gentlemen!”’. Postally used, the correspondent writes ‘In Craig’s words it is “the Captain of the Spectators addressing his constituents”’. Publisher unknown. Post marked 1903(?). Minor wear, otherwise in good condition.
