Kent cricket. Four histories relating to Kent cricket. Titles are ‘Surry [sic] Triumphant or the Kentish-Mens Defeat. A new ballad being a parody of Chevy-Chase’, John Duncombe, ‘Issued in 1937 by Bourne Paddock Cricket Club’. 16pp reprint of the 1773 original. ‘Canterbury Cricket Week. Its Origin, Career, and Jubilee 1842-1891’, F. Milton Small, first issue, Canterbury 1891, bound in modern blue cloth, original wrappers preserved, speckled page edges, ownership name of F.S. Ashley-Cooper to title page. ‘Scores and Annals of the West Kent Cricket Club 1812-1896’, Philip Norman, London 1897, original cream cloth, green spine, gilt titles to front and spine. Slight breaking to internal hinges, scuffing to boards, otherwise in good condition. ‘Twenty Years of Kent Cricket... 1879-1898’, F.E. Marshall, Benenden 1899, bound in later blue cloth, original front wrapper preserved, lacking final two pages and rear wrapper. Some soiling to boards, wear to original front wrapper. Other faults as described, otherwise in good condition.
