Nottinghamshire cricket histories. Four titles including ‘A Short History of Nottinghamshire Cricket including the Season of 1887’. E. Browne. Nottingham 1887. Original decorative cloth boards with wear. ‘Nottinghamshire Cricket Scores and Biographies. From 1838 (Opening of the Trent Bridge Ground)’ Volumes 1 and 2, compiled by C.H. Richards. Printed & published by George Richards of Nottingham 1888 & 1890. The two volumes bound together as one in quarter leather, red speckled page edges, lacking original wrappers, but with an unusual pagination. Some wear to covers, slight breaking to front internal hinge. Sold with ‘Nottinghamshire Cricket and Cricketers’. F.S. Ashley-Cooper. Nottingham 1923. Original green cloth covers with gilt titles to front and spine. Original dustwrapper. ‘Catalogue of the Library at the Notts. County Cricket Club, Trent Bridge’. Winder to inside front cover. Also a scrapbook comprising newspaper cuttings relating to Nottinghamshire cricket for seasons 1931 to c.1936, with neatly handwritten statistics to rear.
