Original brown cloth boards, titles to front and spine. 230pp with additional 11pp ‘Index’ compiled by Henry Grierson tipped in to rear. Bookplate of W.F. Curtis to inside front cover, inscribed and signed in ink ‘To the Sussex County C.C. with many happy memories, W.F. Curtis’. Opposite on the front endpaper is the cancelled Sussex C.C.C. library plate bearing Curtis’ name. Padwick 2298 with the ‘Index’ listed as being separately published in 1926. Slight breaking to internal hinges, minor soiling to boards, otherwise internally in very good condition.
