James Lillywhite’s Cricketers’ Annual 1878-1900. Complete full run of the ‘Red Lillywhite’ Annual for the period, edited by Charles W. Alcock, comprising eight individual issues in original red cloth, and seven bound volumes of multiple issues in quarter leather and marbled or cloth boards. Includes the odd duplication. Issues bound together are 1878-1880, 1881-1883, 1884-1886, 1886 & 1887, 1889-1892, 1893-1896, and 1897-1899. Individual issues are for years 1887, 1888, 1892, 1893 (2 copies), 1895, 1896, and 1900. All issues complete with photographic plates as issued. Bound volumes are lacking original wrappers, with wear to boards and spines, breaking to internal hinges and/ or page blocks. The individual issue for 1887 with wrappers faded and heavily stained to front. The 1892 with press cuttings laid down to pages. The majority with some breaking to internal hinges and some soiling to wrappers. Overall in fair/ good condition. Qty 15.
