‘P.G.H. Fender. A Biography’. Richard Streeton. London 1981. The book has an inscription to title page which appears to be in Fender’s aged hand ‘Lorna, with every good wish... Pop (PGH?). The book has ‘Given to L. Ruskin, Bridge Cottage, Sidestrand [Norfolk] in Jan 1981 by Bill Fowler[?}. An excellent ink signature of Fender on a card is laid down just below this inscription. A letter from the author Richard Streeton accompanies the book. The letter, dated February 1981, is sent to Mrs Rudkin (Lorna) and thanks her for kind remarks regarding the book, signed by Streeton. Good condition with dustwrapper. Sold with a further signed book, ‘Wasim and Waqar, Imran’s Inheritors’, John Crace, London 1992. Signed to the title page by Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis. Qty 2
