Charity matches 1901. Two original scorecards for charity matches. One titled ‘Komic Kriket’, Music Hall Artists’ Team v. Old English Team, Kennington Oval 5th September 1901. The dismissals of the 28 members of the Music Hall team are amusingly described as ‘Kicked out’, ‘Carried out’, ‘Slung out’, ‘Rejected’, ‘Assaulted Umpire’, ‘Caught by mistake’ etc. Tear to lower portion of the card with tape repairs to verso. The other scorecard is for the XVIII of Twickenham v. W. Strutt-Cavell’s XII played at Twickenham Green 23rd September 1901. Horizontal fold, otherwise in good condition.
