South Africa tours to England 1904 & 1907. Four original scorecards including two tour matches at Lord’s. One v. M.C.C. 11th- 14th August 1904, the other v. Middlesex, 10th- 12th June 1907, both with incomplete scores. The others, both with complete printed scores, are for the 2nd Test at Headingley, 29th- 31st July 1907 (England won by 53 runs), and the drawn 3rd Test at Kennington Oval, 19th- 21st August 1907. The Headingley Test was notable for Colin Blythe achieving his career best Test bowling figures of 8/59 in South Africa’s first innings, and taking a further seven wickets in the second to return match figures of 15/99. Good/ very good condition.
