Kent C.C.C. County Champions 1909. Eight original scorecards from Kent’s Championship winning season of 1909, all with incomplete and/ or handwritten scores. Matches are v. Middlesex, Lord’s 31st May- 2nd June, v. Essex, Catford 10th- 12th June, v. Lancashire, Tonbridge 17th- 19th June, v. Northamptonshire, Gravesend 1st- 3rd July, v. Somerset, Gravesend 19th- 21st July, v. Surrey, Blackheath 22nd- 24th July, v. Middlesex, Canterbury 2nd- 4th August, and v. Rest of England (Champion County Match), Kennington Oval 13th- 16th September. Four scorecards originally from the collection of J.R. Mason. Heavy foxing and folds to the Lancashire card, other odd minor faults, otherwise in good condition.
County Champions Kent played twenty six matches in 1909, winning sixteen, losing two and drawing eight.
