Some titles signed. ‘The Ramblings of a Rabbit’, Henry Grierson, London 1924, signed in ink with dedication to front endpaper by the author. ‘The Table in a Roar’, compiled by ‘Fergy’ (James Ferguson), London second edition 1933. Handwritten inscription in ink to front endpaper, ‘To Percy “Bunty” from Fergy Sept 1933’. The book was dedicated ‘To “Bunty”, my sub-editor’ and the dedication page is signed in ink ‘That’s me, Kate A. Ferguson’, Ferguson’s wife. ‘The M.C.C. 1787-1937 reprinted from The Times M.C.C. number May 25, 1937’, London 1937, with handwritten ownership name and signature of Fender to front endpaper. ‘My Life Story’, Sir Jack Hobbs, London 1981, inscribed to the title page in thick pen by Fender, ‘Second to none either on or off the field’ and signed by Fender. Other titles include a review copy of ‘Ashes- And Dust’, Douglas Jardine, London 1934, with accompanying letter from the publisher to Fender, ‘Original Spin’ Vic Marks 2019 signed by Marks, also a Surrey handbook for 1914, and a further selection of biographies, Wisden anthologies, histories etc. and a collection of 1970s/1980s magazines and newspapers. Good condition.
