Royal Doulton ‘Golfing series’ large footed bowl, the body decorated with a continuous scene of cavalier figures (Crombie) of golfers playing golf with top border scene of golf course border with proverb inscription ‘Promise little and do much’ and ‘He that always complains is never pitied’, decorated with green line decoration to extremities. Approximately 7” tall, 8” diameter. With Royal Doulton stamp and number D3395 to base. Produced by Royal Doulton from 1911-1930. Good/very good condition. A rare large golfing bowl
