Golfing figure. Very large advertising golf figure. A colourful composite advertising figure of a golfer with club in one hand and golf bag in the other on a large base/plinth. 46” tall and the base 16”x13”. Some wear to the paint work otherwise in good condition. Probably a counter top advertising figure in a golf shop. This is assumed to be a copy, a later version, of the 1930’s original. An attractive figure. Sold with a reproduction circular large tray, appears to made from papier mache, with golfer on course to centre and titles to outsides ‘St Andrews.
