‘Football caricatures 1920’s. Selection of eleven hand painted watercolour caricatures of famous footballers from the period. Each painted on a white card 4.5”x6”, some appear to have been signed by the player featured. Signed cards include Hugh Ferguson (Cardiff City), John Rutherford (Arsenal), Dan Tremelling (Birmingham City), Thomas Mort (Aston Villa), James McMullan (Manchester City), Tom Anderson (Brentford) and Joe Cassidy (Cardiff City). Other players featured include Lester Finch (Barnet & England), Alf Maitland (Middlesborough), Frank Roberts (Manchester City). Odd faults otherwise in good condition
