England Youth Internationals 1950s/1960s. A selection of signed ephemera comprising an autograph card and players’ itineraries. Includes an official Football Association ‘Autographs of the English Team’ card signed by the eleven members of the England Youth team and three others for the international v Wales, 18th February 1956. Players’ signatures include Barry Staton, John Petts, Chris Crowe, Johnny Byrne, Bert Llewellyn, John Barnwell etc. also C.F. Linnett, the F.A.’s representative to F.I.F.A. and member of the Selection Committee, etc. Player’s itinerary cards for the England Youth International matches, v Scotland, Ibrox 7th February 1953, eleven signatures to front including Harris, Punter, Heyes, Spencer, Knight, Peverell etc. and v [Northern] Ireland, Belfast 12th May 1956, fourteen signatures in ink to the front including Dodson, Crowe, Thursby, Detchon, Bailey, Barnwell, Llewellyn, Staton, Linnett etc. Itinerary booklet ‘Programme of Arrangements’ for the full international, England v Northern Ireland, Wembley 6th November 1957, signed to the front by Linnett, the three match officials, and others including Jack Hobbs. Two official F.A. tour itinerary booklets for tours to ‘South Africa and The Rhodesias’ 1956, one signature to front of Linnett, and to ‘Nigeria and Ghana 1958’, twenty signatures to front including Littlejohn, Hannah, Dougal, Dodkins, Wheeler etc. Some soiling and creasing, overall in good condition.
