‘Famous English Cricketers 1880’. Woven silk panel in the style of a Stevengraph of a design taken from an early lithograph by Willatt Grove of Nottingham for the ‘Boy’s Own Paper’. The image depicts famous players of the period including W.G. Grace, Lillywhite, Ulyett, Hornby, Lucas, Daft, Lockwood, Shaw, Lord Harris, Pooley, Emmett, Bates etc. The panel measures 8”x5.75”. Date unknown. Very good condition.
