Richard Parr Daft (Nottinghamshire, 1 match 1886) to Alfred J. Gaston, cricket follower, writer and collector. Three page handwritten letter in ink, originally from Gaston’s personal collection, written by Daft, son of Richard Daft (Nottinghamshire 1858-1891). Dated 31st May 1900[?], Parr offers some letters ‘to fill your album. As my father has never gone in for collecting he thinks they will be better in your hands’. Signed ‘R.P. Daft’. Some staining and wear, otherwise in generally good condition.
