Small box comprising a file of signed cuttings, photographs and scorecards, also menus, membership tickets, postcards, books, brochures etc. Relating to Sussex cricket and players. Signed items include cuttings signed by Oakman, Buse, Griffith, Cooper, Pountain, Lenham, scorecard signed by Athey and Smith, double page extract from ‘Tiger and Scorcher’ of a Sussex team photograph signed by twelve players, a 1985 team autograph sheet fully signed including Barclay, Gould, Mendis, Greig, Parker, Wells, Imran Khan etc. Also one signed book ‘Lost in the Long Grass’, John Barclay 2013, signed by Barclay. Other items include a menu for the 150th anniversary ‘Grand Annual Dinner’ 1989. Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack 2004 Limited Edition hardback with dustwrapper for Sussex winning the County Championship 2003. George Cox Benefit Book 1951. Benefit brochures for Paul Phillipson 1985 (signed), Paul Parker 1988, Neil Lenham 1999 and Jason Lewry 2002. Three Gillette Cup Final programmes 1970, 1973 (lost both) and 1978 (beat Somerset), and other biographies, histories etc. Good/ very good condition.
