Clarence Victor ‘Clarrie’ Grimmett. Wellington, Victoria, South Australia & Australia 1911-1941. Original sepia plain back postcard of Grimmett, head and shoulders wearing Australia Test cap. Nicely signed in ink to the photograph by Grimmett. No. 9 in the series produced by B.D.V. cigarettes of Godfrey Phillips of London, as part of their advertising campaign for the 1930 Australian tourists. Postally unused. Very light creasing to one corner, otherwise in very good condition.
