Cricket snuff box. Circular early Victorian black lacquered papier mache snuff box. Hinged lid painted with a colour cricketing scene, after Hayman’s painting of 1740. The box measures 2.75” diameter. Minor wear to image and extremities of the box otherwise in good condition. Rarely seen
