‘Cockington Court, Manor House, Devon’. Extremely large and impressive original oil painting on canvas by artist Gerry Wright, comprising a wide panoramic full study looking up to Cockington Manor with a cricket match in progress to centre with avenues of trees casting shadows over parts of the ground and scenic panorama to background, with spectators on the raised banks to sides. A very colourful and attractive image very nicely painted. Signed by Wright to left hand lower corner. The painting was sold to the late renowned collector Roger Mann and was on display in his large cricket room at his home in Torquay. Framed without glass. Overall 52.5”x40”. Good/very good condition. Sold with a copy of ‘Cricket’s Golden Summer’ by Wright which features many of his works
