Australian tour of England 1938. ‘Australian Cricket Team 1938’. Large official mono photograph of the Australian touring team to England 1938, standing and seated in rows at Lord’s, wearing tour blazers and cricket attire. The photograph is laid to official photographer’s mount with printed title and players’ names to borders, and is fully signed in ink to the lower mount border by all eighteen members of the touring party. Signatures are Bradman (Captain), McCabe, Brown Chipperfield, Barnett, Waite, Ward, Barnes, McCormick, O’Reilly, White, Fleetwood-Smith, Fingleton, Walker, Badcock, Hassett, Jeanes (Manager) and Ferguson (Scorer). The photograph measures 12”x9.5”. Attractively framed and glazed, overall 19.5”x16.75”. Photographer unknown. Good signatures and a nice image in very good condition.
