‘The American Cricketer’ 1922. Vol. XLVI nos. 803-814, January- December 1922. Published by the Associated Cricket Clubs of Philadelphia. Complete run of the twelve monthly issues of the magazine, bound in modern green cloth with gilt title to spine, original wrappers retained. Light creasing to some issues, other odd minor faults, otherwise in good/ very good condition.
‘The American Cricketer’ was first published in 1877, originally weekly in the summer and monthly in the winter, latterly monthly, until it ceased in 1929. George Newall of the Newall cricketing family of Philadelphia was one of its early editors.
