Published to celebrate Kilkenny’s two victories over Lord Dunlo’s neighbouring team of Ballinasloe, comprising full scores of the matches and concluding with a poem, ‘A Paean of Triumphal Rhymes’. Handsomely rebound in later brown half morocco with marbled boards, gilt title to spine and gilt to top page edges. Bookplate to inside front cover of M.C.C. Library. Padwick 3318. Some foxing to endpapers, otherwise in good/ very good condition. Rare.
