‘My Dear Victorious Stod. A Biography of A.E. Stoddart’. D. Frith. New Malden. Two editions, one being the first edition in blue cloth privately published in 1970 in a limited edition of 400 copies. Laid down to the inside front cover is a typed letter dated 5th November 1970 from and signed by Frith to the sports journalist and author, Gordon Ross, offering the title for review with some background to his research and decision to publish privately. Signed to the title page by Frith. The other copy is a later edition of 1977 with very good dustwrapper. Both copies with the bookplate of Gordon Ross. Very good condition. Qty 2.
