Original decorative green cloth covers with gilt titles and batsman illustrations to covers and spines, the front and rear covers faded to brown. Internally in good/ very good condition. ‘The Book of Cricket. A New Gallery of Famous Players’, C.B. Fry, London 1899, original decorative boards with minor wear, gilts to front and spine nice and bright, gilt to all page edges. Good condition. ‘Twenty Four Years of Cricket’, A.A. Lilley, London 1912, original green cloth, gilt titles to front and spine, decorative front cover. Good condition. Sold with a selection of eighteen cricket histories and biographies, some large format, all hardbacks with good dustwrappers. Authors include Jim Swanton, John Arlott, David Lemmon, Don Mosey, David Frith, J.S. Barker etc. Good condition. Also four ‘The Cricketer’ magazine annuals 1928-1933 in brown paper wrappers in fair condition. Qty 26.
