‘What Came of Wearing The Free Foresters’ Ribbon’. Mrs Charles Bedford. Printed by Lomax at ‘The Johnson’s Head’, Lichfield c.1894. 17pp. Original decorative wrappers with red and green diagonal stripes to front, tipped in to modern green cloth with gilt title to spine. Bookplates to inside front of original wrapper for E.D.R. Eagar and the sale plate of H.A. Cohen. Padwick 1259. The exact date of publication was unknown to Padwick, however laid down to the inside cloth is a decorative colour label dated ‘5th July 1894’. Some staining and wear to the original wrappers, light foxing to pages, otherwise in good condition. A rare item.
