Aston Villa circa 1962. Complete set of twelve original beer mats issued by the ‘Evening Despatch-Best for Sport’, each featuring a named caricature of a Villa player by Norman Edwards. Players include Alan Deakin, Charlie Aitken, Derek Dougan, Mike Tindall, Geoff Sidebottom, Vic Crowe, Jimmy MacEwan, John Fraser, John Sleeuwenhoek, Phil Woosnam etc. Each card with a biography of the platers to the reverse of the mat. Odd mark otherwise in good condition
